Our development and testing is on Windows 10 and following. We have not tested the current version of WebTWAINSDK on Windows 7 or Windows 8 and do not support these two very old and unsupported versions of Windows.
You need to ensure that your customers are running your app on Windows 10 or above.
If you have issues with these old and unsupported versions of Windows, we are unable to assist.
Please advise your customers of this requirement for Windows 10 or later.
